Dear PAACC Members,

It is time to reflect on the past year and look forward to the next. Much has been accomplished this past year. Caring for and maintaining the grounds is so important and many efforts were made this year to improve the general appearance as well as provide better access for all who visit. Thank you for your personal efforts to make this happen. This cemetery has a special significance to the families of those buried here, as well as the community, and your extra effort is appreciated by these individuals.

Our achievements for 2019 are:
• PAACC was acknowledged as a Historical Site and our application for a Historical Marker was prepared and will be submitted to the Texas Historical Commission later this year.
• PAACC board members donated funds to install a new entry gates, a man gate, and entry fence.
• The burnt stump has been removed and the canopy raised on several trees.

Our upcoming projects are equally as exciting as our past achievements. They are:
• We will replace additional aged fencing.
• We will install new flower holders at each grave.

Proposed Business: (Next Board meeting March 7, 2020)
Due to the rising cost of maintenance we will propose to increase donations and gate fees. We have surveyed the surrounding Marion County Cemetery fees so that we can still offer competitive but affordable pricing.
• We will propose to increase the annual donations to $100, offering a payment plan.
• We will propose to increase the gate fees to $500 for non-members and $250 for Members in good standing.

We are greatly appreciative for the continuous support from our Members. Many positive things occurred in 2019 and your support helped make it all possible. I want to assure you that the intention of this Board is to grow the PAACC without limits. We look forward to a productive, successful year and invite you to participate and most importantly, get involved.

Please encourage others to visit our website to become a member of the PAACC or to make a financial contribution of support. Any amount no matter how small would be greatly appreciated and would have an immediate positive impact.

We look forward to seeing you at the Quarterly Board Meetings.

Thank you,
Robert Smith
